Astranova Services (“Astranova Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Pragride and Pragride Driver (collectively, the “Pragride Services”).
Pragride connects riders with drivers for transportation services. Pragride Driver enables registered drivers to receive ride requests, provide transportation services, manage trips, view earnings, and access other driver-related features.
We respect the privacy of our riders and drivers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you, including your right to delete your Pragride account.
By using Pragride or Pragride Driver, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT 1.1 Account and Profile Information
When you register for or use Pragride or Pragride Driver, we may collect information such as:
Full name Email address Phone number Profile photograph Password or authentication information Account type, such as rider or driver Account status User preferences Login and security information
Passwords are intended to be stored and processed using appropriate security measures and should not be stored in readable plain-text form.
1.2 Rider Information
When you use Pragride as a rider, we may collect:
Current or approximate location Pickup location Destination Ride requests Trip history Trip date and time Estimated and final fares Completed and cancelled trips Driver ratings and reviews Payment and transaction information Support requests Saved locations or preferences, where available Referral or promotional information, where applicable 1.3 Driver Information
When you register for or use Pragride Driver, we may collect:

Some driver information is collected to verify drivers, manage transportation services, promote rider safety, and prevent unauthorized or fraudulent use of Pragride.
2. LOCATION INFORMATION
Location information is an important part of the Pragride Services.
With the appropriate device permissions, Pragride may collect precise or approximate location information to:
Identify a rider's pickup location Find nearby available drivers Send ride requests to appropriate drivers Display a driver's location to a rider during relevant stages of a trip Provide navigation and routing Calculate distances and estimated fares Record pickup and destination information Manage active trips Improve safety and security Detect suspicious or fraudulent activity Resolve trip-related complaints and disputes
For drivers, location information may be processed while the driver is online, available to receive ride requests, travelling to a pickup point, or completing an active trip, depending on the permissions granted and how Pragride Driver is configured.
For riders, location information may be processed when searching for transportation, requesting a ride, during an active trip, or when using another feature that requires location.
You can manage location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location access may prevent certain core ride-hailing features from functioning correctly.
3. INFORMATION SHARED BETWEEN RIDERS AND DRIVERS
Pragride connects riders and drivers. To provide this service, certain information must be shared between them.
Information a Driver May Receive About a Rider
When a rider requests a trip, the assigned or prospective driver may receive information such as:
Rider's name or display name Pickup location Destination Approximate distance to the pickup point Ride category or service type Trip-related instructions provided by the rider Information reasonably necessary to complete the requested trip
We seek to limit this information to what is reasonably necessary for arranging and completing transportation services.
Information a Rider May Receive About a Driver
A rider may receive:
Driver's name Driver profile photograph Driver rating Vehicle make and model Vehicle colour Vehicle registration/number plate Approximate or real-time driver location when relevant to the requested or active trip Other information reasonably necessary to identify the assigned driver and vehicle
This information helps riders identify their driver and vehicle and follow the progress of their requested trip.
4. TRIP INFORMATION
When a trip is requested or completed, Pragride may process information including:
Pickup location Destination Route information Distance Date and time Ride status Driver and rider associated with the trip Fare Payment status Driver earnings Cancellation information Ratings and reviews Trip-related support information
We use this information to operate the ride-hailing service, maintain trip history, calculate fares and earnings, address complaints, provide support, and protect the security and integrity of Pragride.
5. PAYMENTS, DRIVER WALLET AND TRANSACTION INFORMATION
Pragride may process information related to rider payments and driver financial activity, including:
Ride fares Driver earnings Driver wallet balances Payout requests Driver subscription payments Payment method Transaction references Mobile Money transactions Bank transfer information Cash-related records where applicable Payment status and transaction history
Where third-party payment processors or financial service providers are used, payment information may also be processed by those providers according to their own privacy policies and applicable law.
We do not intentionally collect or store complete payment credentials when those credentials are processed directly by an authorized third-party payment provider.
6. RATINGS AND REVIEWS
Riders and drivers may be able to rate or review one another after a trip.
We may collect and retain:
Rating scores Written reviews or feedback Trip associated with the rating Date of the review Relevant account information
We use this information to improve service quality, maintain platform safety, investigate complaints and provide users with relevant service information.
7. DEVICE AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When you use Pragride, we may automatically receive certain technical information, such as:
Device type Operating system App version Device or application identifiers where permitted IP address Crash information Diagnostic information App interactions Login and security events
We may use this information to maintain the Services, troubleshoot technical problems, improve performance, protect accounts, prevent fraud and understand how Pragride is being used.
8. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Astranova Services may use information collected through Pragride and Pragride Driver to provide and operate user accounts; authenticate users; connect riders with drivers; process ride requests; determine pickup and destination locations; provide navigation and trip tracking; calculate fares and driver earnings; process payments and payouts; administer driver subscriptions; maintain trip histories; provide ratings and reviews; communicate service-related information; provide customer support; verify drivers and vehicles; improve safety; detect and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access; troubleshoot and improve the apps; enforce our terms and policies; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We will not use personal information for materially different purposes without appropriate notice or consent where required.
9. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
Astranova Services does not sell users' personal information.
We may share information in the following circumstances:
Between riders and drivers: We share information necessary to arrange and complete rides as described in Section 3.
Service providers: We may use third-party providers for services such as hosting, maps, navigation, payment processing, notifications, authentication, analytics, communications, security and technical infrastructure.
Legal and safety purposes: We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, lawful requests or legal proceedings; investigate fraud or security incidents; enforce our agreements; or protect the rights, property or safety of Pragride, Astranova Services, riders, drivers or others.
Business transactions: If Astranova Services undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets or similar transaction, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
Third parties processing personal data on our behalf are expected to maintain appropriate safeguards for that information.
10. CAMERA, PHOTOS AND DOCUMENTS
Pragride or Pragride Driver may request access to your camera, photographs or files where necessary for features such as:
Uploading a profile photograph Driver identity verification Uploading a driver's licence Uploading vehicle documents Providing documents requested for driver verification Sending relevant attachments to customer support
Access is subject to your device permissions.
11. NOTIFICATIONS
With your permission, Pragride may send push notifications relating to ride requests, driver arrival, trip status, payments, payouts, driver activity, account security, service announcements and other relevant account activity.
Notification permissions can generally be changed through your device settings.
12. DATA SECURITY
Astranova Services uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
Where appropriate, information transmitted between the apps and our servers should be protected using secure encrypted connections.
No electronic storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Users are also responsible for protecting their passwords and devices and should not share account credentials with unauthorized persons.
13. ACCOUNT DELETION
Pragride riders and Pragride Driver users may permanently delete their accounts.
Within the relevant app, users should be provided with a clearly accessible Delete Account or Permanently Delete Account option in the account or profile settings.
A user may be required to authenticate or confirm their intention to delete the account to prevent accidental or unauthorized deletion.
Deleting an account is different from signing out, temporarily disabling an account or uninstalling the app. An account-deletion request is intended to permanently remove the user's account and associated personal data, except information Astranova Services must or is permitted to retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial, dispute-resolution or regulatory purposes.
Driver Account Deletion
Pragride Driver users can initiate deletion from the account settings.
Where necessary, a driver may first be asked to resolve an active trip, pending payout, outstanding wallet transaction or other unresolved financial matter. Any such requirement will be communicated to the driver and will not be used merely to prevent account deletion.
Rider Account Deletion
Pragride riders can initiate permanent account deletion through the account/profile settings in Pragride.
Users may be asked to confirm their identity and their intention to permanently delete the account.
14. INFORMATION DELETED WITH AN ACCOUNT
Subject to legitimate retention requirements, account deletion may include deletion or de-identification of information such as:
Account profile Name and contact information Profile photograph Authentication information Saved locations and preferences Personal location information linked to the account Driver profile information Driver verification documents where continued retention is unnecessary Marketing preferences Other personal information associated with the deleted account
Information that has been permanently anonymized or aggregated so that it can no longer reasonably identify the user may be retained.
15. INFORMATION WE MAY RETAIN AFTER ACCOUNT DELETION
Certain records may need to be retained after an account is deleted where reasonably necessary for:
Financial accounting and transaction reconciliation Tax or regulatory obligations Fraud prevention and security Resolving payment disputes Chargebacks Investigating safety incidents Responding to lawful requests Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims Complying with applicable transportation, business or other legal requirements
Where information is retained for such purposes, we will limit its use to the purpose for which retention is required and delete or anonymize it when continued retention is no longer necessary.
16. ACCOUNT DELETION THROUGH OUR WEBSITE
Users who no longer have Pragride or Pragride Driver installed should be able to request deletion without reinstalling the application.

Astranova Services may take reasonable steps to verify that the person requesting deletion is the legitimate account owner before processing the request.

That page should provide a working deletion request mechanism for both Pragride and Pragride Driver. Google specifically requires an external deletion resource for apps that allow account creation, even where deletion is already available in-app.
17. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Pragride Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including maintaining accounts, completing transactions, providing customer support, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, maintaining security and satisfying legal or regulatory obligations.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data-retention procedures and applicable law.
18. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights concerning their personal information, including requesting access to their information, requesting correction of inaccurate information, withdrawing certain permissions or consent, requesting deletion of personal information or an account, and contacting Astranova Services with privacy-related concerns.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain privacy requests.
19. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Pragride and Pragride Driver are not intended for children who are legally unable to independently use ride-hailing or transportation services under applicable law.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in circumstances prohibited by applicable law. If we learn that personal information has been collected contrary to applicable requirements, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise handle the information as required.
20. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Pragride may rely on third-party technologies and service providers for functions such as:
Mapping and navigation Cloud hosting and databases Payment processing Mobile Money processing Push notifications Authentication Analytics Crash reporting Communications and customer support
These providers may process information necessary to provide their respective services.
Astranova Services requires or expects service providers processing personal information on its behalf to maintain appropriate protections for that information.
21. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Depending on the infrastructure and service providers used by Pragride, personal information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where a user resides.
Where applicable, Astranova Services will take appropriate measures intended to protect personal information when it is processed across borders.
22. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
Astranova Services may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technologies, legal requirements or data practices change.
When material changes are made, we may provide notice through Pragride, Pragride Driver, our website or another appropriate communication method.
The effective or last-updated date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy will indicate when the policy was most recently revised.
